I'm going to repeat what everyone else is saying. It's a grizzly bear that's not vanilla and not a bear. I don't think it should be rated any less than him.

No you don't.
This guy can attack and block.
And after you get Domain, which happens fairly quickly, that Cylix looks mighty useless.
There is no excuse for a strictly better grizzly bears with a more practical creature type to be rated lower.

Good compared to grizzly, bad compared to other mana elves, unless you really like expensive filtering.

Although there are better mana fixers (Orochi Leafcaller), this is a pretty good bargain P/T wise
3.5/5

This is rated lower than Grizzly Bears because Grizzly Bears is vastly overrated for what it does. People rate it high for nostalgia, for being such a well-known benchmark, etc. A 2/2 for 2 with no abilities does not deserve to be rated higher than Essence Scatter or Incendiary Command on playability alone, and as this card is only slightly better than Grizzly Bears (let's face it, the ability sucks; there are much better mana fixers, one of which was mentioned already: Orochi Leafcaller). The rating it has right now is perfectly fine.

I was going to rate this low, but I see now that it is a bear at the very least. It's underwhelming to see an elf with a mana ability that isn't good but it is at least on curve.
