The art is nice, especially with the old card frame, though it would look better with the "tap to add" text instead of the huge mana symbol.
Also, there are quite a lot of mountains on the art, regarding it's about plains. Still nice.

I just random card'ed over here from Goblin War Buggy and couldn't help but comment. I've made great efforts to explore all the art of Magic's lands, but I've never had the fortune of coming across this one. As a mountain man through and through, I find it hard to resist other basic lands that look like or feature dramatic peaks, and this land delights. Too bad it's from one of the most obnoxious lands to collect from; I think I'd have an easier time filling a cube with 40 of Rebecca Guay's Plains featuring the Great Wall.
I really do like it when I feel as though I could explore the place being depicted on a card. Many other plains from this era don't resonate with me like this one does, presenting a few bushels of wheat at best. More modern Plains cards are so clearly digital that it ruins the mystique, a problem unique to b... (see all)
