I know I'm putting myself out for some sort of nerd-hate,
But did anybody think of Ryuk from Death Note when they saw this guy's face?

"Liliana's Specter seems just a little better than this guy"
Sure it does. But for twelve years, this was the only creature with an 'enters play' ability that made each opponent discard a card. We had to make due recurring this guy endlessly.

This card's art scares me and makes me laugh at the same time. I feel like it should have a clause stating that "Rather than pay this card's mana cost, you may make the face on the art."

But...but scumbling1, everyone knows that you have to compare cards from past sets with ones from current sets to get an even comparison!

even if you have 2 opponents, this isn't good enough to me.
even if you're playing with an ally in 2-HG, this doesn't YET seem good enough to me.
but you know, discarding a card is discarding a card. not the best but far from the worst thing to be doing. I would absolutely try sliding this in to a meant-for-5-players deck.
Pretty sure 5 is just the best number of people to play Magic. More than than, and you have to split up into duels. (I don't exactly like Draft very much. I like mind games, but I prefer the mind games of everyone playing the same duel to Drafting mind games.)
Domain is a good mechanic when you have all 5 colors, most multiplayer cards are Good-Very Fine at 5 players. 3 isn't *quite* enough and if you can get 4 players you really want to start looking for a 5th, unless you're two couples way too nerdy to play bridge >.< 4-colored Commander decks might as well be 5 and have done with it.
With a 20-point life total, 3 is seen as the 'acceptable' rate of damage f... (see all)
