Best spike I've seen. The Holy Day in a Can makes it worth its salt, especially when combined with something like Forgotten Ancient or Spike Breeder.

Is it just me, or is this guy just the cutest little fogmachine in Magic!? If I had one, I'd keep it on my shoulder.

One of the best Spikes, especially for multiplayer decks, where people won't attack you, since you can render their attack harmless up to three times for a single mana, which then leaves them open for a counterattack.

I need to get one of these for my Borborygmos EDH. Borborygmos, plus proliferate, plus the numerous other ways to put +1/+1 counters on creatures will ensure this thing will be able to protect me forever.
Edit: Finally got one! Can't wait to use it!

When this thing is built around properly, it's on the same power level as Moat.

One of my favorite cards of all time. So great in my Ghave, Guru of Spores EDH deck, and best friends with Forgotten Ancient. My favorite memory is how this saved me from the certain doom of a Rafiq equipped with every single "Sword of __ and __". Good times.

Pairing this with Gilder Bairn makes turbo-fog too easy.
