If you want to pump up all your creatures for one all-out attack, they're likely little goblins who will die in the slide anyway. If you want to wipe your opponent's swarm of creatures, well, you're playing red - you have Pyroclasm and Rolling Thunder.
It's pretty neat... but it's certainly hard to use, at the very least.

If I'm correct, your creatures will be killed as soon as they endurance reaches zero. So nothing much there, blood lust is way better. But for killing all those pesky tokens and creatures agains a swarm deck, this is good.

Red gets very few reduce toughness effects. This is likely one of very few (possibly the only one) that board wipes. It is therefore indispensable against certain threats like indestructibility and protection from red.
