Once you drop this, getting a 4/3 trampler every turn for the next 3 turns is gonna put you a fair ways ahead. This guy has no place in competitive, but I could definitely see playing it in a casual deck.

Hmm, not quite as good as squadron hawk, it also reminds me of aurochs herd which works much better than this guy.

So, when I play it for 6 mana, I get to clog my hand up with more overcosted 6 mana creatures! Hooray!
I guess there's probably a combo in there somwhere though.

The trade is card quality for card advantage. Wouldn't pay off in a more sophisticated deck.

The only effect I can think of is fueling your hand for discard or other types of hand-size effects. With that said, Skyshround Sentinel is cheaper.

I have a deck that uses this card, Skyshroud Sentinel, and Howling Wolf as food for the likes of Vampire Hounds, Skyshroud Vampire and Mind Maggots. It can be fun.
I also have cards that make use of the creatures in the graveyard, like Lord of Extinction and especially Haunting Misery. So it recycles itself well. It's not a very good deck but dear to my heart because it was one of my first (I originally built it back in like 2000 or something).

I suppose you could use this in a Sneak Attack deck. 16 dmg for 4mana.
Not much else to see here, heh.

What a horrible card to pair the ability with. It should go on something cheaper so you can actually play them all. At least you won't have to worry about drawing more of theses guys once they're all in your hand.
