This is a very decent card.
Granted, I prefer Ichorclaw Myr, but this is still a very solid card.
Superb pick in Limited.

Very easy to play in a mono-color infect deck.

I was running Leaden Myr before this but this looks very, very nice. A drop might be a bit much for aggro Infect decks though.

Solid card for weenie infect. I like that he's colourless, perfect for 2 colour decks with lots of artefacts.

Nice to see more low costing infect guys. He can help you ramp as well.

One of the most versitle cards out there IMHO.
Need mana? Done.
Need early defesne? Done (people will be less likely to attack with their 2/2 if it suddenly becomes a 1/1 afterwards).
Wanna give your opponent a poison counter? Done.
Wanna give your oppoenent LOTS of poison counters? N/p. Give me a Galvanizer and/or a tempered steel and I'm your myr.
Just as good as Ichorclaw as it doesn't have the aggro but it does have the ramp for the same CC.

IMO, nowhere near as good as ichorclaw myr or pretty much any low costing infect drop. the fact that it can accelerate is cool, but it's just not worthwhile in a deck where i'm trying to have all my cards cost 2 or less mana.
every infect deck I've played and played against is better using small drops like ichorclaw myr or blighted agents- cards that opponents won't block (or can't) and boosting the hell out of them with mutagenic / giant growths. i'd pick a glistener elf over this any day.
although, in limited, it is pretty good, i will admit.

I'm going blue, black, this guy (for mana), corrupted conscience (for fun), hand of the praetors(for poison), a few infect creatures, alot of proliferate, and then I'll watch it happen; slowly, you'll die, one counter at a time. I'll watch you grimace as I add each drop, I'll tap the cards nice and slowly and see you reel and writhe until you bow to me as my new servent.
Now that I have that out of my system, I like to think that this guy is the start of a beautiful future for infect and poison, but there's still that nagging problem: Using control stratagies and poison to take down the enemy is (even with this guy) still too slow and risky as there aren't many good static defences around for blue and black. Infect and poison still seems to be in the hands of green pump spells.
