A "baby timewalk" in that it eats up part of an opponent's turn, namely their ability to cast any spells.

You can use it as a timewalk under most circumstances, just cast it at the beginning of their upkeep. Of course, if you're playing a {G} playing with things like Llanowar Elves you won't quite be able to tap them out, and of course the will get to drop their land for the turn....but even late game shrinking a player's available mana from {10} down to say, {2} can be devastating.

Why do people keep comparing this to getting an extra turn? It's not. Their creatures can still attack, they still draw a card and they can still put a land out. It's nothing compared to getting an extra turn.
