Shows how much of a difference on mana can be. Would begrudgingly put nightwing shade in as my 23 but this guy I would be happy to pick up.

Now one of my favorite commons from M12. Did an amazing job for me during the prerelease.

I'm really liking how this interacts (or doesn't) with bloodthirst. It presents a little bluffing game. I attack with mana untapped. Do you block it, suspecting that I plan to follow the attack with Vampire Outcasts, or do you leave it unblocked to save a summoning-sick flier from the fatal pumping?

Chilling Shade has shown us how good a flying shade can be. This one doesn't really hold a candle to the other one, but it's still okay.
Nightwing Shade just makes us sad.

I guess this is their way of making up for nantuko shade rotating out with m11.

Just a reprint of Dungeon Shade which was deadly, if you devote all your resources to it. Just this side of playable.

Very nice flavor text. I've started thinking of him as "Moonlight Shadow".

This thing can be terrifying once their mana is high. Beats into you with more damage than black usually can.

'cause I have nothing better to do on turn five then use all my mana supporting the card I played last turn. Sorry shade lovers, I know there are a bunch of you. Shades have always bothered me.
