I don't know whether to be glad my wolves finally have a lord, or mad that I won't be the only guy with a dedicated wolf deck

And to think they just gave these away.

Kurraga, I'd much rather that Gatherer handled these double-faced cards the same way they do split cards. The two sets of comment pages is pretty awkward.

Has anyone else thought of running Parallel Lives with this? One of these gives you an extra 2/2 wolf, and two of them gives you four 2/2 wolves per each of your end steps. Combine this with Full Moon's Rise and you have a means to get a lot of 3/2 trample tokens out quickly. You could theoretically swarm while just playing one spell a turn. Get any of the three spells out in multiples, and the numbers get even better.

Odd how the "manly" alpha is one of the smallest werewolves there are.
He even loses to granny: lambholt elder in both forms no less.

This guy is a beast, he works in all the ways the Huntmaster fails; providing synergies all hours of the day for us hairy wolf types.
PS: I agree, I hate having 2 comment pages for essentially 1 card.

I think the other art for this is much better. I like this one too, but the other is better in my opinion.

This guy bends Faeries over and gives it a good spanking.
