This card combos with Skullclamp... and makes me wonder which is the better card. 5/5

Mindblowingly powerful, a staple of many powerful zombie decks to come.

Grimgrin says this makes for a delicious and nutritious snack when on the go, though it is a bit crunchy.
Even without him, this is a great replacement for Reassembling Skeleton in zombie tribal. I'll take a set, please!

I think it's time to rebuild my zombie deck. This guy will turn my carrion feeder into an omfg feeder, and my shepherd of rots and gempalm polluters will always have ammo. Love how simple and powerful it is.

Blasting Station turns him into a machine gun. Altar of Dementia turns him into a milling engine. Add Rooftop Storm to go infinite with either.

This + Diregraf Captain + Phyrexian Altar = Everyone Dead
As a bonus, this combo generates infinite mana of any color if you have Rooftop Storm in play.
Such a brutal little one-drop. :D

Gravecrawler Noxious Ghoul Corpse Harvester Grave Pact Undead Warcheif
in combination, these cards are devastating. Most directly, Gravecrawler's built in recursion lets me toss him to Corpse Harvester, then bring him back, trigering Noxious Ghoul's effect to wipe creatures, along with setting off Grave Pact, and with even 1 Undead Warcheif, he hits for 4 each time. A key element is that the previous card I used for this, Festering Goblin would cost me (typically) my Lord of the Undead's tap ability to recour. With that freed up, I can bring back other cards.
Unable to block, there is no reason not to swing with him so long as 1 remains in play on my side of the field. Though I have to refrain from Vengeful Dead ,... (see all)

@Izzy187
There is nothing in the wording of Rooftop Storm that necessitates casting from your hand. It is indeed very plausible to cast and recast Gravecrawler from the graveyard for free as many times as you like to make Grimgrin, Corpse-Born infinitely powerful.
As for the card itself, although it being a brand new rare makes it difficult to get my hands on, I'm getting two today and finding two more in the near future for my B/U Zombie deck. Fantastic zombie, makes Diregraf Ghoul look very mediocre in comparison. 5/5.

The cheapest cmc 3 creature ever printed.
Rated 5/5 from a player's standpoint, because 1 mana to draw a card is something you should never pass up.
