Always liked the poison mechanic. Deck designed around pit scorpions and these suckers with ways of making them walk past the ebeny or deal their damage direct. Hilarity ensues, rarely victory but often the hilarity.

He was my favorite poison creature of the original batch, although he was sub-par back then and is truly inferior to all the modern infect creatures, some strictly so, as in rot wolf.

As a big fan of old cards and poison I can only say... that this creature sucks!
It's hard to admit to me, but I cannot deny the evidence... Four mana for a 1/2 without any kind of evasion was already bad when this card came out: at turn four or more, blocking and killing a 1/2 is almost always no problem.
Nice flavor, bad card.
