Worked really well with Warstorm Surge in an m12 draft. Every time I used it to chump block, they lost a one drop. Also allowed the skeleton to take out 2 toughness creatures if I had mana open on their turn.

@DeathDark: What. Wait. You'd rather have a regenerator than a card that just pops back out of the graveyard? You've never made a sacrifice deck. This is easily the most useful card in mine. It's a lock when combined with Mind Slash or Attrition.

One of my favorite new black cards. Hope he sticks around for a loooooong time. As far as combos go, how about Fallen Angel, or Flesh-Eater Imp, and Grave Pact. Nuff said.
Wish they would reprint Soldevi Adnate, or come up with something simialr.

And you can just use his ability whenever, and however many times...
and sacrifice mechanics are fun!
