This is the most interesting card for me in Dark Ascension.

Why? Because I play an Animar EDH deck. And this card screams to be used in an Animar EDH.

Got this at the midnight prerelease. I won me a couple of games. This thing is nuts in limited, especially because you get to keep them until they die. This card is really overwhelming to them if you have a lot of creatures out there already.

I'd like to dispel the myth that if you're playing Blue you won't have enough creatures for this card. That's true if you're classic control like The Deck inspired, but have you really not heard of Wizards? Well, she is one, and there are a decent number of Wizards that like their tribal synergy; i.e., they like a lot of other creatures with the same type. Also, Merfolk. She's not a Merfolk, but in a format like Commander where you can have 20-40 creatures in your deck, I think you can swap one Merfolk for a decent creature stealer. Yes, she costs 5. So does Mind Control. Unlike Mind Control, she dies, you keep the critter you stole. Yeah, it's not perfect, but it's not really bad either.

You would not have to work that hard to make this card work. Just splash something, by the time you have five manna you have two blue. Blue green makes plenty of tokens... White this time round makes an unholy number of tokens...

Side note: Diminish is now a mind control for keeps.

Definitely a bomb in limited. She screams for removal, and if it is not instant then it might be too late.

Elsewhere she could be used. Maybe some UG human deck?
