Wouldn't this be the purest example of a MTG dragon card?

There was once a day when if you were staring across the table at one of these, you knew you were dead.

Mr. Shivers may have the record for most damage inflicted in all of history.

This used to be the biggest, baddest card in the game. So many games in the 90s were won with this card alone.

Back in the mid-90s this was THE power creature for red. If you were playing red, you HAD to have one. After all these years, still a beautiful card. Brings back a lot of memories playing MTG in college.

When my best friend and I started playing magic during revised, we both got a starter deck (completely random back in the day) and 2 boosters each for Christmas. I got an Elvish Archers and a Tundra and he got a Shivan. I had nothing to counter that damn dragon. In an effort to get even, I saved up and bought 30 boosters in a hope to get my dragon. No luck. Never did manage to get one. But I did get 4x Vesuvan Doppelganger
