Surpringly good in limited. And there is good design and logic between different Red creatures in Innistrad. They seem to assist each other to reach full potential. Nice.

With her and Rakish Heir, I'm pretty sure corsets fall into red's section of the color pie.

I think the original art showed these two as being indoors (like in a private booth) with a large window overlooking the spires of some city. The lighting went well with the original context. The design change was likely due to the name of the card. People don't tend to associate being indoors with being at a crossway. I would have argued against changing the art and instead changing the name of the card to "vampire courtesan" or "courtesan vampire". It would have fit the art and the flavor a lot better.
On a another note, this character is just about exactly what I imagined Viridiana Sovari looked like from the Night Angel Trilogy.

Good card, I just wish that she was a little more splashable. Though a 3/2 Vamp for 2R with a turn of block-lock might be pushing it a little.

Good card, I just don't see any indication she is actually a vampire...

This and Bloodcrazed Neonate work really well together.
Turn two you play Bloodcrazed Neonate.
Turn three you play Crossway Vampire. Opponent's creature can't block your Neonate.
You now have two 3/2 vampires ready for turn four.
Another good turn three/four card is Rakish Heir. Neonate is now effectively a Falkenrath Marauders without flying.
Lots of potential to tap into here imo.

A larger Goblin Shortcutter?
I guess that's all I really wanted...

Everybody's talking about her breasts squeezed into that corset, but nobody's talking about the iexplicable red neon light source. Where the hell is that coming from? They're outside! In the mountains! In daylight! Not the artist's fault, I'm sure. I can just picture the conversation between him and the management in Wizard's art department.
"This needs more red lighting."
"Uh... okay, but that doesn't make any sense in the context of the scene."
"Of course it does. How will people know it's a red card otherwise?"

Development: We need to change this card, people find it distracting.
R&D: That's crazy, everyone loves corset vampire... er, I meant crossway
Development: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
R&D: You're overreacting, It did well in playtex... er, playtest.
