Actually, this has a more relevant creature type than Giant Trap Door Spider. Wizards really needs to print a spider lord.

Come on guys, this thing is pretty good. Red/Green R.F.G. capabilities with a, admittedly not great, but fair size. And on top of that a fairly usable creature type. Seems pretty good to me.

I want to point out that with appropriate cards you could potentially exile multiple attacking creatures with this guy by untapping and reusing the ability at instant speed.

On the bright side, you can practically have twice as many Giant Trap Door Spiders with this guy in your deck. Escpecially relevant for EDH.

*Flavor text says that Kavu ate Dominarians.*
*Art clearly shows a Kavu attacking a Phyrexian*
What.

Apparently actively hunting or lying in wait in a hole in the ground achieve the exact same results. It's a delightful commentary on the nature of ecological niches!

I like to pretend he has a Baneslayer Angel trapped in his teeth in the artwork.
