I would just love to put this in a huge ramp-draw deck just so I could beat people to death with an enchantment.

It's extremely mana- and card (at random)-intensive. Too much to be particularly good, but... it's still kinda fun.

worked well in the Japanese deck "hata burn" during invasion-odyssey era

Hmmm what would happen if we Duct taped 2 Stormbinds together and then printed it?

Play Stormbind instead.

Two cards is rough. At random breaks the deal. I can't imagine having success playing this in limited, let alone casual.

Good because it doesn't sac itself but kind bad because you have to pay so much mana and discard 2 cards from your hand.

So awesome and cool in theory... so disappointing on the battlefield. I've tried it in a number of casual decks, Madness and graveyard play included... and it's never done anything worthwhile.

Sneaks under counterspells better than Stormbind... and is marginally better with Rings of Brighthearth?
