Has anyone realized how scary Tamiyo's emblem is with Gifts Ungiven? Not only do you get Gifts back but also the two cards that would otherwise have gone to the graveyard. With Tami's emblem Gifts becomes a reusable four card tutor!
Be fun to see how many Kamigawa cards she plays with.

This is what a planeswalker should be - impressive, tricky to play, with a suitably spectacular ultimate. Regardless of Standard, she will go straight to a lot of Commander decks. And she's a moonfolk!

imagine playing against a control player and in the late game they just tap some lands, show you a dissipate, and then just put it back in their hand.
this thing is gonna be SO HARD to beat if you can pop her ultimate!

I have a dream of getting her ultimate with Mind Over Matter on the field. With one card in hand and one island I will basically have infinite mana and the oppononent will never have an untapped permanent. God forbid the card in hand is a Boomerang or Counterspell. Just discard boomerang twice to untap two lands and then cast it to bounce a permanant and repeat. I mean any spell really. With one island I could use Time Warp to take infinite turns. Her ultimate is the most fun one I've seen yet. Plus she's kinda classy and pretty. Yet to have a really classy girl planeswalker. Looks like she's a book nerd, too. I really hope I get her.

I wonder what the people of Innistrad think of her. Moonfolk aren't exactly common on the plane, you know.

Oh look, Wizards remembered Kamigawa existed. Nice.
As for the card? Love it. A fun and funny blue planeswalker. Her +1 is effective without being overly powerful, her -2 makes your opponent think twice about attacking, and if you hit ultimate? Shenanigans abound.
She is why I play Magic. She's fun, pure and simple. I really hope no one breaks her and makes her impossible for me to afford, I'd love to run a copy or two of her.

I was so excited for this planeswalker, and when I got one at the prerelease, it made my day. I'm honored, Mistress Tamiyo, that I own a copy of your card.
I was going to make a list of cards I thought her ultimate ability could combo with. Then I figured I would have to type the name of every Magic: the Gathering card that does something good, and that would have me here for all eternity.
So I just thought I'd mention that with any card like seething song or dark ritual, you get infinite mana. And you can do a lot with infinite mana.
@LordofLiege, no, she doesn't go back to your hand. Check the rulings. But she's still amazing.

I once had an idea for a combo that could be put into a spell-slinger deck that utilized Call to Mind and Cast Through Time to keep my hand stocked with all the instants and sorceries I'd ever need.
As shaky a combo-idea as that was, only now that I'm looking at this right now do I realize how obsolete and absurd that idea was.
You gotta love Planeswalkers that not only have abilities that synergize with each other, but who can protect themselves at the same time. Her first ability can help lock down the board for you along with all that other crap blue has that keeps your opponents stuff tapped out, i.e. Gigadrowse, Frost Breath, Frost Titan (and for some real shenanigans, Sleep) and etcetera, and her second ability turns all that control into easy card advantage. (Not as easy or as OP as Consecrated Sphinx, but then we're talking about t... (see all)

@ mechakraken, it means exactly what it says.
If you play a spell during your opponents main phase, at the beginning of their end step you do what you're told to do. If you perform the action at the end of their turn, at your end step you do it.
