This card is a fleeting distraction.

The sweet flavor distracts from how sucky the card is.

This Card can help a creature Evolve for a turn and replaces itself. I like it.

During opponent's combat:
Me: "Hey, look, a distraction!"
Opponent+opponent's creature: *derp?*
Me: *draws and casts Temporal Mastery*
*Opponent flips table*

Cantrip is useless when the main effect is so bad you might as well not have it at all.

Criminally underrated. Any one-mana instant cantrip is solid in my book. Compare this to Thought Scour, and in limited this is more likely to have an effect. Could totally make a profitable combat trick, AND draw you a new card. Or you can swap it out turn one to smooth out your mana base.

I guess the existence of miracles makes this reprint a little more useful than its original release in standard.

It's still a cantrip for .
What if it said "Up to one target creature..."
