This is a classic trope: Giant terrifying yet misunderstood gentle monster who tenderly embraces pigeons with an outstretched claw.

A balanced spin on Primordial Sage. Doesn't get you cards if the creature spell is countered, but he's much better at attacking. Also, dat art.

Anyone notice all the full of "mirror" cards in this set:
Harvester of Souls//Soul of the Harvest
Triumph of Cruelty//Triumph of Ferocity
Searchlight Geist//Moonlight Geist
Tormentor's Trident//Vanguard's Shield
Scroll of Griselbrand//Scroll of Avacyn
Mental Agony//Angel's Mercy (It's in the art)
I'm sure there are more, but even 6 is a lot.
(Also, I am disappointed that only the scrolls got mirrored flavor texts, although I love the mirror in the names of "Soul of the Harvest" and "Harvester of Souls")

After Wurmcoil and the titans rotate, this will be one of the best 6-drops in Standard, along with its opposite, Harvester of Souls. It will be interesting to see if they get played.

Actually it's debatable as to whether primordial sage is better at drawing cards.
While primordial sage draws you cards even if the spell is countered. Where as this nets you cards even if they enter the battlefield via alternative means.
For example if you have this in play along with two strangleroot geists (without counters mind) and a slagstorm resolves your up two cards because two non-token critters just hit the board. It also works with flicker effects such as cloudshift and things such as elvish piper and quicksilver amulet.
Taking into account that and the fact that this has 2 more power and trample, imply this one is better. Although both of them are good for sure.

Cantripping fatties that synchronize with elves? Sign me up. Wizards treated green very nicely with AVR.

@ Lorendorky
...It's a tale as old as time, amiright?
Anyway, back to the card...this, along with Harvester of Souls, might make a Birthing Pod aggro deck viable, what with all the undying cards out there.
