Is it just me, or does the flavor text mean that this guy is actually Judge Dredd?

Viridian Longbow - a demon using a bow doesn't make much sense but anyway...

Any other creature's death give you cards. In multiplayer game your card advantage would go through the roof.

There will always be a place in my black heart for card drawing demons.

I think this is perfect for a rare at CMC=6 -- big fatty, two nice abilities, not so overpowered to just win the game for you, and can be built around within the set. Good job R&D, 4.5/5.

I'd say this 6-CMC creature that does something with souls and harvesting of the two is the better one.
This is mainly because Harvester draws when any creature dies. Soul of the Harvest draws when you play a creature. There are no shenanigans with Soul, because tokens aren't allowed.
However, with the Harvester, you can do all kinds of crap. Here's an example of something I did in tonights draft:
I had Harvester of Souls, Bloodflow Connoisseur and Blood Artist out. I played Butcher Ghoul and sacrificed it. Undying occurs, and then I sacrificed it again.
The end result came to +2 life for me, +2 1/1 counters of the Connoisseur, and 2 cards, while my opponent lost 2 life and is going to take +2 damage than before... all for 2 Mana.
Young Wolf, Strangleroot Geist, and anything with Undying Evil added to it can do this exact thing.... (see all)
