Banned from Commander/EDH.
He just used to be in almost every green deck ever xD
I'll miss those sick plays with Urborg and Cabal Coffers, and then swinging and getting Vesuva + Deserted Temple.
Good riddance prime time, Avenger of Zendikar is going to be very sad now...

Garruk 2.0 and Primeval Titan love each other long time.
Not to mention that genesis wave for 10+ in a deck with only permanents will pretty much be a devestaging, game ending move. Make sure you keep 4 mana around for fresh meat though, that Day of Judgement is always lurking.

You know, one of the funniest decks I've ever seen was a turn 4 Titan deck that centered around dropping something like Inferno Titan or Frost Titan, and to follow up next turn, dropping this guy and fetching a Teetering Peaks and Soaring Seacliff to throw on your other Titan.
He ran 2 Teetering Peaks and 2 Soaring Seacliffs and would open up his Titans with them. It was so jank, but funny as hell to see play. He got 5th place at FNM with it as well.
If you have these guys and wanna play a deck other than Valakut, give that shot. The look on your opponent's face is simply priceless the moment you drop those 2 lands.

Primetime is nuts. Not broken, maybe slightly bent. But the reason he's had success is the wealth of holy-crap powerful utility lands available for him to fetch the entire time he's been in standard. Valakut, followed by Inkmoth, followed by Wolf Run, followed by Cavern of Souls. These are, in my opinion, the things that reallly made Primeval so good. Without them he is powerful, with them, well you get deck archetypes that won't be going away anytime soon.

Banned in EDH, but with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle unbanned in Modern, a higher calling awaits. Prime Time's not over yet.

@J34nM1: The flavor text is: "When nature calls, run" with the word "run" in italics. The italics are for emphasis. When you italicize something that is already in italics, the italics are inverted.

This card should not be banned in EDH. It's certainly very powerful but it's only broken when people get Inkmoth Nexus (which frankly should be banned in EDH anyway or the poison counters for death increased) and Kessig Wolf Run together. In the other million situations, it just ramps you to 8 or gets a nice utility land. It dies to any removal, it doesn't lockdown the game and it's generally not unfun for EDH. When you look at the other stuff on the EDH banlist (like YawgWill or Worldfire), there's a clear reason why they're banned. This should not be.
Cards that could be in its place:
-Necropotence. Come on.
-Stasis.
-Boil/Choke/coloured land hosers.

This is my first comment on the Gatherer, and I was not surprised to find that this had been banned in EDH. All of my experience with Magic comes from the Duels of the Planeswalkers games; and in the 2014 edition this guy graces the Eldrazi ramp deck with his presence. I had been playing Magic the Gathering for a combined total of 4 hours. Even I knew this card was unbelievably powerful.
5/5. Primetime only gets the best ratings.
