So let me this straight, tarted up vampire fangirls are as tough as Grizzly Bears now? ;)
Seriously though, I like what they were trying to accomplish with this card. Dark Ascension has a few cards in Black that want to you sacrifice Humans, and this card gives you an in-color human sacrifice that you can flip to become a member of a relevant Black tribe. I just wish that she was a 1/1 to 3/3 for 1B, instead of the current incarnation.

I adore the mechanic and artistry of this card. The girl on the first have is exceptionally gorgeous and rendered amazingly well, the red ribbon is a terrific detail, she reminds me of Sarah Jarosz... And then she gets flipped over into a generic vampiratrix.
I would love to build a deck around this pretty face, if only it did something useful. They should have spent more time on the other side.

My God. Innistrad and Dark Ascension are not letting up. I look at this and I find myself wishing a
Champion of the Parish would break down the door and save the poor girl from the evil vampires.
She's only willing because she thinks it's the only way to survive! She's lost faith in heroes! That's TERRIBLE!

Commander review: blows. Even if you run a vampire commander, she is still a bear that is, at times, a 4/4 vanilla. It's in both cases not useful.
