Man the only way to make this card better would be if it redirected 3 damage. But then everyone would complain about how broken it is.

Great card. I would be quite happy to see damage redirection become a standard White effect, and cards with similar effects printed in subsequent sets. Instant-speed White really needs to be known for something other than damage prevention and life gain (looking at you, Healing Salve and your eight billion variants).

My only criticism is it doesn't draw you a card

I'm working on a deck with Smallpox and it has both Kitchen Finks and Geralf's Messenger. The color pie puts me out of range of using Lightning Bolts and Mana Leaks, so when someone tries to Pillar of Flame one of my dudes, I have this card to redirect it.
Not sure if other people still think this card's good, but it works for me.
@BongRipper: Actually this card redirects damage, it doesn't prevent it. That might seem unimportant but more cards stop damage prevention than redirection.

I agree 100%. Getting more effects like this would be really cool. Treat this as a white Lightning bolt, then expand to white equivalents to other red damage spells. Arc Trail? Redirect 2 damage from 1-2 creatures you control to 1-2 creatures. For disintegrate-style exile-if-creature-dies effects, have the white equivalents exile if lethal damage is assigned (bypassing indestructible, if it takes enough damage that it would die, it is exiled), compensate by having costs like X1W or XXW for X power versions and generally higher costs, both for the redirect (at about 2 redirect to 3 damage), and for the potential exile effect (maybe a +1 cmc for most).
One thing that could be neat would be redirect Tims, probably RW and 4 cmc, with tap, redirect one damage ability.
I think harms way is a really cool card, and would like to see a lot more effects like it.

Broken? hardly. however, to make this broke you'll need something like this:
Harm's way plus
(W)
The next 2 damage that a source of your choice would deal to target creature or player is dealt to another target creature or player instead.

One of the better reflection effects. It's not going to win games, but I prefer it over Righteous Blow or even Shock, as far as dealing up to 2 damage to things. It isn't the white Lightning Bolt, but it can save a guy, and can also nail one that tends to not attack. It's fantastic whether you're attacking or defending.
This kind of thing should be an evergreen effect.

As far as 1 drop damage prevention goes, this is seems to be the cream of the crop.
