People didn't want to block this guy at my prerelease. Still not very strong, though.

meh, if it made 2 spirit tokens, was 1 less to cost, or was a 3/3, i would be fine with it. but i honestly dont think 4 mana for a 2/2 lifelinker that only makes ONE token would be any good

I like the flavor. Yet...
For it would have been a cool casual card.
This way it's just more limited crap :(

@majinara: I don't really take issue with your rates, but why bother Commander-reviewing cards that are so obviously not for Commander?

I don't think he's as good as Mausoleum Guard. She puts out more tokens, and if you're running these guys, that is what you're trying to do. And Mausoleum Guard wasn't that great, so this guy is pretty...mm. Bluh. Whatever.

@majinara: I swear to Bolas if I ever meet you in real life the first thing I am doing is punching you in the face for hate-rating every. SINGLE. CARD.

the lifelink and the pseudo-undying are both relevant and help do the same thing- make you live longer. As said before, the problem lies in it's mana cost. the irony is that seeing print at 1W still wouldn't have made it constructed playable, since constructed wants the flying tokens more than the lifegain or the human body.
You can see where they got the cost. Doomed traveler plus 1 for the lifelink, and 1 for the extra p/t. wait... that isnt right...why is it 3W?

Mausoleum Guard is a crappy uncommon. This is an average common. Am I thinking of it the right way?
They should have combined them both into a middling uncommon instead.
