One of my favourite cards mostly for nostalgia reasons, and it can be really good card. It's also another card that is good with Forbidden Orchard.

This card not only had the size to dominate it's environment at the time, but for a couple years to come. It was a dominating force on the battlefield with the added ability of be much cheaper if you were outnumbered which wasn't always a bad thing for a Green Deck. It was not only a good creature in and of itself but it had a great back-up creature in Blastoderm.

Really, were you playing the same fires deck I was? Shivan Wurm was pretty much head and shoulders over this guy, the 7/7 trampler cost a lot less mana (5 vs 8, and Fires was the deck with the most creatures on the table by far, so Might wasn't gonna cost less then 8), and on top of that could recall your blastoderms that were out of fade counters.

Avatars, Winds, Spellshaper Legends....

Yeah, Prophecy was pretty much the best set ever.

From what I've read, the Prophecy set was one of the least played sets in the history of MTG. Supposedly, almost all tournament players didn't utilize this set but it was a pretty big hit with casual players, due to all the avatars. That's what I read anyway. I personally like the mechanic of the Avatars, it's something you don't see much of at all. But I'm pretty much just a casual player too, so who knows haha. I give it a four for the usability over the other avatars (BESIDES AVATAR OF WOE). It seems to me that this card is the easiest to use it's mana cost reduction in a one on one game. Especially against a saproling or other counter deck. In multiplayer though, my babycakes Avatar of Woe is the Master!!

@ Gilgiga - Sure, the casting cost might not have been reduced in those decks, but green isn't exactly known for lacking in mana. With the right mana ramping, 8 mana is easy to do by turn 3...
