Its Castigate except it can target even yourself no idea why you would want to. I love it. Castigate is one of my favorite cards of all time and this is just awesome to have

Coercion reprinted and altered, same cost, slightly different abilities
Coercion is for pure discard decks or something with graveyard control and allows you discard anything
This exiles the card entirely but doesn't allow you to choose lands, should be run in control or non-discard decks

Distress, except it exiles instead of discards. Higher CMC, but more splashable at the same time, with {2}{B} as opposed to the previous {B}{B}.
Also, I just have to say that the art and flavor of this card is just awesome. Definitely better than the art for Distress. I feel like they really nailed the flavor with Innistrad, I really like this block.

This with Telepathy make a nice combo.
Shame it isn't an Instant. Still, with Telepathy in play you know just when to cast it. Better use Leyline of Anticipation so you can cast it during your opponents turn as well.

It exiles the card -- something incredibly beneficial against Innistrad (lots of return from graveyard to hand mechanics, flashback, return to play, cards that benefit from number of cards in graveyards, creatures in graveyards, etc.). It's no despise, but it can get rid of non-creatures.

I'd be happy to pay the additional to cast this and to exile any nonland card from my opponents hand.

Or you could use Leyline of the Void and use a Distress. =)
Nice card, changes to from Castigate
