They put it in the deck so you could cycle it and then grab it for counters with The Mimeoplasm

I have never cast this bad boy, only cycled for a card and counter fodder, and he does that job well.
I have copied it once with The Mimeoplasm along with a death's Shadow for 13 counters, just to taunt my opponent. Next turn, they sacrificed their Islands to a Claws of Gix so I couldn't attack. I guess he showed me.

You know a cards' useful when the flavour includes people abusing the creature in the Magic universe.
Check out Zombie Goliath and Vastwood Gorger. High-costed limited fuel, but never playable outside of that. There's bound to be more things like that (Caravan Hurda counts, I suppose?)
I mean, does Primeval Titan's, Ravenous Baloth's, and Primalcrux's flavour describe the way humans harness their power? Actually, it's the complete opposite!

fish beast sounds like slang for an ugly chick at the bar.

I don't really understand why they put cards like this in the decks.. They could've reprinted something that actually deserved it.
