I played this in mulitplayer once against 5 of my friends. I never played it again. Trust me this is a good way to lose friends. Making them discard a card and drawing yourself 5 cards, you quickly become the target.

Only one comment? This is the epitome of a card that was weak as *** when it came out and was given a freakin' gold crown when EDH came about.

In a one-on-one game, it's a 4-mana 2-card swing: basically a worse version of Mind Rot. Admittedly, that card doesn't draw you anything, but it has the same effect in terms of cards in your hand vs. cards in theirs.
Still, there's a reason this was reprinted for Commander: it's pretty darned good in multi.

In a 3 player game it's well worth it's cost. Any more players and it's great. Can make EDH games feel like Archenemy.

@lorendorky
lol but if Gandlodder's comment was the only comment forever, it would have been hilarious.
This card is definitely only good in multi-player. In a 1v1, it is too weak for the mana cost. In EDH though, you are usually playing multi-player, and if not, it doesn't do absolutely nothing in 1v1, it's just sub-par.
In horde magic though, this card is perfect. It scales with number of players in 2 ways. It hits all the players so it is always strong regardless of how many people are playing, and it draws more cards if there are more players, which means there will be even more stuff to deal with. It's a perfect fit.
