This card is amazing if played well, but it has a huge weakness in that you usually kill peoples creatures before you play it and if you happened to kill a few dragons they come back and blow up your face. I like it but I personally wouldn't use it much unless I had a very large advantage or a crap ton of morbid.

I was in a 6-player EDH (Or Commander) game, and late game after lots of death happened, I cast this. There was so much ETB effects on creatures like Mulldrifter, Duplicant, Clone, Eternal Witnesses and about 40 other shenanigans, that 4 people just quit on the spot because they didn't want to deal with the mess. Good times.
Anyway, 5/5, perfect for the Mimeoplasm.

Umm.... Living End is a homage to Living Death. Living Death was originally printed in Tempest and considered amazing, Living End was printed much after in Time Spiral and is one of several cards in Time Spiral that referenced good cards from Magic's past.

Any way, an awesome card which can very quickly tilt the game to the caster's favor.

Played an EDH game last night against two friends. I asked em which deck I should use, they said my mill deck..... They both had this card. I lost gloriously.

Once, my brick-headed opponent cast this trying to wipe my board. He didn't notice I had a way to sacrifice everything in response to it (Greater Gargadon), so all he achieved was triggering all my ETB effects once again.
Excluding those rare backfirings, it is a win condition in any properly built deck.

Comibe this with Urabrask the Hidden in you're graveyard. Big smile followed by the statement "I win!". Seriously, this card gave me a turn 3 win in my re-animate deck. I cast two Frantic Search followed by a Dark Ritual then Living Death. Urabrask, Avacyn, Gisela, and like 3 other creatures hit the table. It was goodly.

Combine with the black's traditional "sac for power".
And then to deal with the other players graveyard:
Bojuka Bog, Tormod's Crypt, Nihil Spellbomb, Gravestorm

Ahh, good times. One of my favorite turnarounds.

I remember playing with my white solider deck vs my best friend. Through a combination of what could have been called tactical brilliance on my side, and tactical idiocy on his, I manged to wipe out almost his entire field.

I pass, expecting him to surrender. Instead, instead he grins, a maniacal, evil, soul-chilling grin.

He taps 4 swamps, and 3 mountains, flings his last creature at me for 4 damage.

His laughs grow louder.

Then this is slammed on the table, with all of the awful authority of the first nail driving into the coffin.

1 minute - and multiple nails into my coffin - later I turned that little 20 sided dice onto the side with that white "0" marked into it.
