Why flash when the only use for this is to play it on opponents annoying X/1 creatures on your own turn.

At the very least, it immediately kills your opponent's 1st turn Birds of Paradise.

I really do wonder how they managed to justify all these weird effects in blue. Blue was like, the color they tossed something in if they didn't know where else to put it...
