Yeah, the snow-covered forestwalk distracts from the fact that this is a 1/2 1CC drop. Nice card.

At the time, this was the only one-drop 1/2 without a drawback in the entire game, so it found its way into a number of weenie decks, even without regards to the landwalk.
But this kind of illustrates the entire problem with snow lands in Ice Age: Most of the things that interacted with them punished the player who was using them, and some of those things were worth using anyway, so there was basically no reason for anyone to ever put snow lands into their deck.

Wizards should errata this to be a snow card. It mean really, the art is full of snow, the creature has a snow-covered landwalk, and it has RIME in it's name!

Strictly better than Woodland Druid. Unfortunately, a card can be good according to the mana curve but still completely useless.
