Once had it in a deck with quicksilver dagger. Tap: ping and draw a card. Drawn a twiddle? Play it. Before it resolves, the dwarves untap again, ping, draw a card. Twiddle resolves, untaps the dwarves, they ping, you draw a card. Got an opt or ponder? And so on... Note that they also trigger off artifacts.

You can untap it in a monored deck by playing an artifact.

you won't believe how much i'd love this card if it was 4/4. but all the shenanigans seem so fragile with 2 toughness...

Dwarven Bloodboiler could work well here. Consider using it with artifacts, ghostfire, baubles, and such.
