Seems a bit price-y but a very powerful card in a mono-red.

Wizards created too much tension in Koth's deck between cards that want you to have lots of mountains in play and sacrificing mountains for effects.

maybe true loren, but they give you a nice toolbox so that if you buy 2 (which most people already do for the alternate arts) then you can choose to build either a 'Sacrifce Mountains' deck or a 'X Mountains' deck.
I like that they found cards that actually can make different styles of decks rather than just 'RDW'

This is an incredibly versatile Corrupt in mono-red. I honestly think I've had as many wins with my Giant deck that are due to this card as Sunrise Sovereign or even Inferno Titan, either through hitting directly for the last 6+ points of damage or by removing the various creatures that needed removing
