Giving red some defense can be useful. And in typical red fashion it is defense with a bite.

Drafted this set for the first time yesterday. Got two Wall of Fire's, and I have to say, they're more useful than you think. Stops armies of:

Garruk's Packleader, Spiked Baloth, Sentinel Spider, Prized Elephant, and that was just last night! I'm sure there's more. Truly an annoying card to stare at from across the table.

This is a dangerous card in limited.

The Firebreathing attachment provides you with a combat trick. Let's say your opponent was thinking of attacking with a Spiked Baloth, but they see you have 6 mountains untapped. Would they attack? Not at all. Even if they had a Titanic Growth in their hand, they know that they'll lose a 4/2 trampler.

The second reason is since it's a common and a wall, players aren't taking this. If you can pick yourself many instants (like Searing Spear), you can make yourself a really tricky limited deck.

This is a clean 3.5/5.0 card. Nothing too powerful, but it can get the job done.

The first returning card confirmed for M15, alongside the new community-created card Waste Not (this autocard won't work until July, so don't bother). And the reworked card frame looks awesome.
