I never understood this concept.
So, it's high enough in the air to block creature with flying, but I guess it's too lazy to descend to block any creatures that aren't in the air. Yet, whenever it attacks, it's susceptible to any blocking on ground level.
I'll only ever love Juvenile Gloomwidow.

Well there's a reprint I wasn't expecting. The art is definitely an upgrade, and it's an efficient creature for holding off airborne menaces. I just wish they had reprinted Juvenile Gloomwidow while they were at it.

A 3/3 with reach for only 3 CMC is pretty good, even with the "drawback".

I get why Cloud Sprite or Rishadan Airship can only block flyers. They're too slow on the ground.
