Wow. This is only an uncommon. That makes it even better, I guess? If you were playing for ante, why *wouldn't* you run a playset of these in your deck?

When your Lord of the Pit is sittting in the ante pile and you've got Animate Dead in your hand top decking this thing is spooge-tacular (and yes I played a black ante deck, 4 contracts = you win the other players cards)

This card is actually pretty useful if you use things that involve anteing more yourself (especially if they encourage your opponent to ante more, too, like Rebirth.) Ante a bunch, then swap it all for one bird.

If you run a recursion deck with two of these and Demonic Attorney, I'm quite sure your nose will start suddenly bleed. Great card though.
They should add ante on Magic Online. Consent of course.

Is that why all ante cards state that they have to be removed from your deck if you aren't playing for it? That's not the Oracle text; that's what is printed on the actual cards.
