It's not a Wall of Razors. Gladly it's not a Wall of Torches either.
But i see an appealingly simple, perfecly flavored, generically named
artifact creature with some badass artwork for future Core Sets.

I really like this. Cheap, effective defense early on against bears, weenies, etc.

Why hasn't ANYONE brought up Wall of Spears? I see Wall of Razors was mentioned, though the power (what matters on a first striker) and color are completely different. Then someone brought up Porcelain Legionnaire and someone brought up Deft Duelist, which aren't even defenders and serve a completely different function.
This guy is a cheaper Wall of Spears.

This was a solid performer for me at prerelease. Great early defender on the cheap...can buy you a couple of turns if you need time to fire off a 4+ CMC spell. I like.
Shoulda been a Spirit, though. That would have been fun.

I keep seeing a lot of "If it didn't have defender" and "Shame it has defender"....uh...Warmonger's Chariot anyone?

Excellent early card. Kept many opponents at bay during pre-release. I usually paired him with Timberland Guide as a 3/2 first-strike defender scares just about anyone.
