Funny thing how visuals change. I remember from my childhood that guardian angel was always depicted as this female figure that howered over the child who was walking to the school. Then in school we were tought that all angels were actually sexless and most of them in history were depicted as males. Gabriel, Rafael and Lucifer (who is a fallen angel) comes first to mind.
Then comes Magic with mostly female angels and one male angel is a topic of wonder.

Probably one of the few ugly angels in magic

@garbagegatherer
Many of the old Angels are based on personal preference. Like, the bald ones aren't my cup of tea for example. But I don't think anyone could disagree with Chancellor of the Annex and especially Shattered Angel.

Its only good choice ability would be rampage three; otherwise its a 4/4 with a basic ability for seven. Now, had Gabrial's power or toughness been increased or two abilities could have been chosen, then it would be far more efficient.

Gabriel Angelfire is an okay card the only problem with is that its converted mana cost is 7 which in my opinion isn't worth it to only have only a 4/4 unless you make it first strike.

Is this (potentially) the only card with Rampage 3? Anyway, as it is, it's crap, but I really like the concept. I can even imagine this card in a combo with Concerted Effort.
