Another beautifully costed unleash card, great art and activated ability is pretty outrageous. Paired with +X/+0 Effects this guy is more than worth saccing for the win, after doing its power in damage already that turn.

Very scary from the other side of the table. With unleash you get the extra power and output. Without unleash (leashed?) it can chump block and still send its power to the opponents face.

Love it. This is the BR aggro 3-drop. Way better than Cryptborn Horror. I also love that that's rare, and this isn't.

Is it just me or did some troll hate-rate all the cards? This was a full 1.1 stars higher just last night.
Anyway, awesome card, with lovely combo potential. A lot of Unleash cards were underwhelming, but this guy is golden as you can bomb with him if you somehow can't attack.

I'm working on a B/R deck, and have been for some time, and as soon as I saw the new Rakdos cards, especially this one, I was in love. Now, my deck isn't in standard, but it uses mostly Innistrad stuff, and I can definitely see a very strong B/R aggro deck with this, Rakdos Cackler, and Rakdos Shreadfreak, along side Soulcage Fiend and Bump in the Night

Unleashed he's an absolute terror in a Rakdos Exalted deck, or in a red/black aggro deck with power buffs. Even if you leave him leashed he's a half-decent blocker who can blow up in you're opponents face when he finally bites off more than he can chew.
Also...that art is just great: "ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, COME HERE SO I CAN GIVE YOU A FRIENDLY HUG! DO IT! HUG MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
