While Leviathan is now befitting it's size, it's clearly just a radioactively mutated Godzilla angler fish.
The name sounds like Arabian Nights, by the way.

The card is weak (well, it's from Homelands, what do you expect), but it has one of the most powerful artwork I've ever seen. And it's powerful in a very clever way: first time you look at this, all you see is some really ugly, deep-sea fish eating up a smaller fish for lunch. That's when it hits you: wait, that's no fish, that's a goddamned WHALE! Just how huge is that thing?! Mr Gelon did a truly amazing job here. It certainly has that OMGWTF factor.

Although it might be tough to attack with, that last ability is nice. 
to do one damage to any attacking creature without flying, and if I'm not mistaken you can do this as many times as you wish even if the power goes below 0, not great but decent for blue.

While the untap clause is ridiculously stupid, the pinging ability makes this guy look like a bomb in limited. -1 power? That's fine, this guy will still likely kill whatever it blocks. Or, at least, survive. I mean, with just the mana to cast this guy you can use that ability 3 times per turn (enough to kill a good size of a swarm, your worst nightmare with this guy). And he's still a 5/8. Not being able to hit fliers seems bad except your blue...so you should be able to get past that with a Plumeveil or, at the least, a wall of air.
Not tournament viable but few cards are.

Way too unfocused, I think this would have been better if split into two separate creatures. Shows how old the "huge blue creature with ridiculous untap clause" gimmick was getting even at this stage. Still, it's better than Leviathan and that whale is cute ^_^
