This card got a huge boost from Lorwyn. It's one of two 2-mana giants, and that white giant from Coldsnap must be built around to use.

But its black. So obviously, Zombie is the creature type you should look to.
3/3 zom for 2 is nice.

It actully may have more potential in a giant deck even though it is black, simply due to the lack of low costing giants.
Also it is often a lackluster choice in zombies since it stops you from bringing back your creatures and makes your Soulless Ones far weaker.
