She rocks in an Aven deck. Seriously, she was at best mediocre when Homelands came out. Now, she is a decent card, really able to pull her weight.

"Great in any deck with Captain Falcon." --VoidedNote
I think you could say she is Captain Falcon.

Probably one of the cards that gained the most from the creature type update.
However, being legendary really hurts a lord-card like this, because if you're playing a tribal deck you really need your lords in play and want to run four; but that's inadvisable, of course, with a legend.

Wish the Magic Online people had put this in a Master's Edition, this card is actually pretty decent.

Not bad at all in Bird tribal (yes, it exists). Throw in a few Soulcatchers' Aerie and you're good to go. By Homelands standards, this chick is god-tier.

So happy to see a banding creature with a good score!

If anyone ever benefited from the Grand Creature Type Update, it was Soraya. She would go great in a bird token deck, especially with that instant-speed banding trick.

Wow, I forgot about her. She is pretty darn good now as a cheap general. Too bad she's not a soldier but when I look and see old cards getting better it makes me smile. Now all they have to do is change Graveborn into zombies :)
