Reprinted as Manalith in M12 (almost), still useful.

For those of you that like this sort of useless information, the Alliances expasion featured a number of Gorilla creature cards. "Sol grail" is, of course, an anagram of Gorillas.
Just thought you'd like to know...

@EvilCleavage I know you can't possibly be that dense, Do you know what an anagram is.
I tend to dislike negative comments and personal attacks, but that comment was screaming to be replied to.
Back on topic: Sol Grail in it's time seemed like it was a decent card. But no matter how bad it gets, it can't possibly rate lower than a 2.5 or so. I mean Coldsteel Heart gets a 4.1.
IMHO anything below a 2.5 or maybe a 2 has to have a negative aspect to it (it hurts you somehow...card advantage, creature advantage, life etc...), like Andradite Leech, Banshee, or Bargain.

Really bad by current standards, but I could imagine running it before the advent of Manalith.
Also: Not strictly worse, since your opponent is less likely to be able to get useful mana out of it with Steal Artifact.
