Pretty sure that multikicker has things that target it directly, this doesn't fall into that catagory. And multikicker is a terribly imbecilic sounding ability.

Taste of Paradise is better than Stream of Life if you want to spend 6 mana or 8+ mana. Otherwise, Stream of Life is just as good or better with the flexibility of targeting other players. That said, they both suck unless you have some method of generating a ton of mana to get a big life payoff.

Its sort of weird that this is a precursor to kicker and multi-kicker (more like multi-kicker) but neither would be used, let alone keyworded, for many sets after this (esp. multikicker which only was keyworded in worldwake)
