I know this is not one of the best cards out there, in fact its not even close. But, it also is far from the worst. A 2/2 for {2}{R} rates around a 1.5/5 to 2/5 like Goblin Hero or Gray Ogre or even Raging Bull which has a terrible tribe along with Gray Ogre. Now factor in {2} for Mountainwalk, and I see 2 to 2.5/5. Look at Guma, he gets a 3/5 for Protection from Blue. I know what a lowly card to be arguing over, but if no-one cares for the enslaved Goblins, well who will care for the enslaved people ;)

Aside from the bad characteristica of the card, the concept makes no sense to me, an enslaved scout? Aren't scouts scouting ahead alone, and wouldn't that make it easy for it to flee? And who would trust the scout reports from a slave?

Oracle is wrong. This card gives YOU mountainwalk until end of turn. It's how Billy Tyler won the Appalachia tour back in 97' when he mountainwalked back home and fetched his shotgun from outside the game with burning wish.
