This was pretty good a long time ago. As of now, there are better options, but gotta love the old-school multikicker.

I really enjoy this card, it has really good R/G EDH playability for anyone looking for some Artifact hate.

It's not strictly better. Shatter is an instant. That difference is HUGE.
