I really love the art on this reprint, never liked the original. Duplicant is fine, but I think it is a bit overrated. 
is a fair cost to ostensibly steal an opponent's creature sans abilities. I am not convinced black or white need this except in special cases. Green, Red and bounce/blink/artifact blue decks should get a lot of love out of this guy though.

Of course many players don't have access to all the cards for their "dream deck," and as far as playable deck filler, duplicant is fine. I really just dislike the inclusion of such subpar cards in these special printings.
This is one of the cards most often overrated by EDH players: 6 mana spot creature removal on an irrelevant body.
It's not a bad card, but almost every deck has better options. The only places where this should be played are decks that are really starved for options, like mono-red and mono-green. Even dedicated "blink" decks have better uses for all 99 of their card slots.
bring on the down-rates
That is a Cool story! but a spot removal that gets the P/T of what it removes and it's removal is based on an "oh so exploitable ETB" and you wanna say it sucks? SORRY! but unless you preface with "This sucks in 1v1 EDH" then I don't think you're right at all.
Recur this with bounce/blink/GY shenanigans and watch your opponent cry.
