Magic was not originally designed to appeal to the younger crowd (nowadays, see: elf decks, slivers, beasts, soldiers, allies). Magic used to have at least as many adult players as children players.

Definitely the best Regeneration artwork, though I still bear a soft spot for the Tenth Edition illustration.
Also, Lord_of_Tresserhorn, you can blame the puritanical "moral guardians" of the modern USA for that. This isn't a problem that only Magic has.
